#standagainstcovid

We hope that everyone is enjoying the return to grassroots football.

We have been digesting all the information that has been released since Tuesday by the Government, the FA, Cheshire FA and the venues that we use. As a result we have updated all our risk assessments and venue specific information sheets.

There have been some minor changes however the new CheshireFA #Standagainstcovid infographics sum things up perfectly and we would like everyone to have a read through the attachments and to adhere to the guidelines at all times.

We know it feels restrictive to only have one spectator per player, to be asked to spectate from cars where possible (although that might be increasingly more attractive as the weather gets colder), arrive and depart promptly and follow the other guidelines however this is all to manage risk and allow us to continue to play grassroots football, for the benefit of all our players.

If you have any questions or concerms then please speak to the Club Covid Officer, Carl Broadhurst, Phil Lathaen, Nikki Edge or any of the committee members. As you know, we are all volunteers but will respond when we can.

Thank you all for your continued support. Stay safe, support those around you, be kind and #standagainstcovid.

Many thanks

AFC Waverton Committee
