AFC Waverton is a football club with over 400 players, but is currently run by a small number of individuals. We need your help!
The club is in great need of additional volunteers to help in its continued running. We want to create an environment where we can push forward and achieve some great things for our boys and girls who get so much enjoyment from playing football and being part of something special.
So, if you’re a parent, grandparent or guardian of one of our players (or ex players) and have some time to spare then why not get in touch? Some roles take 1-3 hours per week, others are more focussed at specific times of the season.
Our current volunteer vacancies include:
Pitch Allocation Co-ordinator: the point of contact for training pitches and match pitches throughout the season, liaising with the All Weather pitch providers during the winter months. It could be split into Saturday Teams (u7-u11) and Sunday Teams (u13-u17/17).
Registration Coordinator: (Minis) and Registration Coordinator (Juniors) – both work with the Chair, Treasurer and Secretary to ensure that new registrations are checked and approved through our automated systems.
Fundraising/Sponsorship Co-ordinator: – working proactively with the local community (and wider where possible) to help generate additional income into the club.
